May 3, 2022 -- Los Angeles Police on Tuesday asked the public for help finding a man missing since last November who was last seen in Santa Monica.

The request came one day after Santa Monica police found a Long Beach man who had been missing since September 2020.

LAPD's Missing Persons Unit is trying to locate Beau Mann, a 39-year-old man who may be mentally ill and last contacted his family via phone on November 28.

"Beau failed to contact family for several days (after the last call) and has not been heard from since," LAPD officials said.

"His phone is off, and his family are unable to reach him.

"Beau’s family fears he may be struggling with mental health issues and are concerned for his safety," police said.

Mann -- who is described as a White male with brown hair and blue eyes -- was last seen near the intersection of Berkeley Street and Santa Monica Boulevard, according to police.

He is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs approximately 220 pounds.

Mann was last seen wearing a blue baseball cap, dark sweatshirt, dark pants and black shoes. He was carrying a large backpack, police said.

LAPD's request for help finding Mann came after Santa Monica police on Monday found a Long Beach man who had been missing since September 22, 2020.

Christian Garcia, a Hispanic in his early 20s, had been missing since he left his Long Beach residential care facility.

The Long Beach Police Department sought the public's help finding Garcia, describing him as “a dependent adult in need of medication.”

Garcia was found around 10 p.m. Monday by the Santa Monica Police Department. Details have not been released.

Anyone who has seen or has any information regarding the whereabouts of Beau Mann should contact the LAPD Missing Persons Unit at (213) 996-1800.

During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7 (1-877-527-3247). Anyone wishing to remain anonymous should call the L.A. Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (800-222-8477) or go directly to www.lacrimestoppers.org.
