Santa Monica Clinic Scrutizined in Diddy Trial

By Jorge Casuso

May 21, 2025 -- A Santa Monica clinic has come under scrutiny in the federal sex trafficking trial of Sean "Diddy" Combs after federal agents found drugs with the doctor's address in the music mogul's hotel room in New York City.

The bottle of the anti-anxiety medication clonazepam found in the Park Hyatt suite listed the address for the concierge clinic Lifespan, 2811 Wilshire Boulevard suite 610, according to a government exhibit presented in the trial.

The drug was prescribed to Combs' alias Frank Black and dispensed from a Walgreens in Miami, where Combs has a home.

The prescription drug was found in Combs' hotel room on September 16, 2024 shortly after his arrest for human trafficking and other racketeering conspiracy charges.

The pill bottle was recovered inside a Louis Vuitton bag on the nightstand along with apparent “mood lighting,” Department of Homeland Security Special Agent Yasin Binda told the court, according to Los Angeles Magazine.

"She also described finding bags with Astroglide lubricant and baby oil inside the entryway closet of the room."

According to the clinic's website, " LifeSpan Medicine is a preventive and longevity focused, functional medicine practice.'

"We provide a variety of healthcare services from our renowned Platinum Program, Comprehensive Program, integrative nutrition, joint care and sports medicine."

Since his arrest, Combs, 54, who pleaded not guilty, has been held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, the only federal jail in New York City.

The local clinic's involvement in the highly publicized trial comes less than one year after a Santa Monica doctor was arrested in connection with the death of actor Mathew Perry ("Santa Monica Doctor Charged in Connection to Mathew Perry's Death," August 15, 2024).
