June 25, 2025 -- Police are asking the public's help finding two masked men caught on video breaking into a Santa Monica coffee shop before dawn Monday.

The the two suspects wearing black clothing are captured on surveillance footage shattering the glass front door of Amai Coffee at 1701 Pico Boulevard at around 4:34 a.m.
The first suspect is described as a male of average build wearing a black sweater, black face mask, blue jeans and black shoes.
The second suspect is also a male of average build wearing a black FILA sweater with white lettering, a red face mask, black pants and black shoes.
The men fled from the scene in a white or silver sedan of unknown make and model, police said in a post on X.
"Although no items were reported stolen, the forced entry caused approximately $1,000 in damage to the storefront," according to the post.
"A similar burglary occurred at this location three months ago, and a neighboring business, Dr. T House, was also targeted around the same time."
