July 23, 2025 -- Santa Monica will showcase its renown culinary offerings during Dine LA Restaurant Week when 50 local eateries will offer special menus at discounted prices starting Friday.
The event, which ends August 8, showcases the city's "diverse culinary offerings, imaginative dining concepts and the best of farm-to-table cuisine," Santa Monica Travel & Tourism said in a statement Tuesday.
The offerings range from Mediterranean flavors at Regent Santa Monica Beach’s Orla and tapas at Xuntos to Michelin Star dining at Mélisse and California cuisine at The Shore Hotel’s new Shoreside Restaurant & Bar.
“Santa Monica’s culinary landscape is a true standout, with over 400 restaurants across the city welcoming locals and travelers with warm hospitality, vibrant flavors and creative techniques,” said SMTT's president and CEO Misti Kerns.
“Dine LA restaurant week is the perfect time to enjoy a sampling of our beachside city’s dining landscape, with both legacy restaurants and modern eateries.”
The largest restaurant week in the country, Dine LA will offer
discounted meals at more than 450 restaurants in 15 days, according to the event's website.
Restaurant Week, which takes place twice a year, "showcases Los Angeles as a premier dining destination while highlighting the diversity of culinary experiences L.A. has to offer."
During the Summer 2025 event, Dine LA will be promoting dine-in only, according to the website. Advance reservations are strongly recommended.
"There are no tickets or passes required," event organizers said. "Simply dine out at a participating restaurant, ask for the Dine LA Restaurant Week menu, and try a new dish or enjoy an old favorite."
Prices and meal periods vary by restaurant, and exclude beverages, tax and gratuity, the website notes.
Dine LA Restaurant Week was introduced in January 2008 to promote the LA area as a prime dining destination. Some 150 restaurants participated in the inaugural event.
