February 19, 2019 -- A drug dealing investigation that began in Santa Monica led to the arrest last week of three suspects and the seizure of a large cache of weapons, drugs and cash, police said Tuesday.

The evidence was seized Friday after the Police Department’s Narcotics/Vice Unit and SWAT executed search warrants in a home in Lennox and another in Hawthorne.

The warrants also involved "multiple vehicles and persons," said SMPD spokesman Lt. Saul Rodriguez.

Police recovered 21 handguns and 8 long guns/rifles, more than 4,000 rounds of ammunition, cocaine, methamphetamine and heroin, he said.

Police also recovered more tha $200,000 in cash, police said.

Detectives arrested two men and a woman "for their involvement in narcotics distribution and criminal activity," Rodriguez said.

The suspects were identified as Pedro Cesar Isais, a 28 year-old male from Los Angeles, who was booked for possession of heroin and methamphetamine for the purpose of sales.
