By Lookout Staff February 14, 2019 -- The Los Angeles District Attorney's office has filed attempted murder charges against a man suspected of beating his girlfriend unconscious in a Santa Monica apartment last week. Kevin Ferron, 43, was also charged with "inflicting Corporal Injury on a Spouse/Co-Habitant after prior conviction," according to Santa Monica police.
Ferron was at the apartment when paramedics arrived, police said. "Based on the preliminary investigation, SMPD Detectives believe the victim’s injuries resulted from criminal activity," Rodriguez said. "The investigation has led to the victim’s boyfriend, Kevin Ferron, as the primary suspect in the investigation." Ferron had been arrested for domestic violence four times in the past year, most recently on January 21, according to arrest records. Anyone with information related to the investigation should call Detective Murphy at (310) 458-8941; Sgt. Williams at (310) 458-8475; or the Santa Monica Police Department at (310) 458-8491. |
