Santa Monica Police Seek Suspect in Sexual Battery

-- Santa Monica Police are looking for a man who grabbed a teenage girl on the buttock as she walked to school last week.

The incident, which is considered sexual battery, took place last Wednesday at around 7:45 a.m. in the 2100 block of Lincoln Boulevard.

As the victim walked past the suspect, she felt her right buttock being grabbed, police said. When she turned around, the suspect smiled and said to her, “Sexy.” He then walked away.

The suspect is described as an African-American man, approximately 30 years old, wearing a gray sweatshirt and gray hat, and holding a beige backpack with a red stripe.
