March 29 -- A two-car collision on Montana Avenue Wednesday
morning sent a 74-year-old driver to the hospital after his
vehicle hit a tree, police said.
A preliminary investigation found that the injured driver
was travelling northbound on Euclid Street when he collided
with a vehicle headed eastbound on Montana.
The vehicles collided at the intersection, and the northbound
vehicle continued and struck a tree.
The driver of the first vehicle, a white 74-years-old male,
was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle was interviewed at the scene
and released pending further investigation.
Police are still investigating the cause of the collision. |
