Man Stabbed, Another Shot in Beach Parking Lot By Lookout Staff July 29 -- Police arrested three suspects after a black man was stabbed and a Latino teenager shot in a beach parking lot north of the pier early Thursday morning, police said. The three suspects -- Latino residents of Los Angeles -- were booked for attempted murder and gang enhancement and held without bail, police said. Police are still searching for the black suspects involved in the incident. The shooting victim -- described as a 17-year-old Latino resident of Los Angeles -- was shot in the 1550 beach lot at around 1:40 a.m., said Lt. Frank Fabrega, the police department spokesman. He was found by police in the 1700 block of 4th Street with at least one gunshot wound to the upper torso, Fabrega said. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, police said. A black adult, also a resident of Los Angeles, was stabbed in the same parking lot, police said. He was recovering from a wound to the upper torso and was listed in stable condition, Fabrega said. Police arrested Marco Villalobos, 22; Pedro Villalobos, 23, and a juvenile who was transported to a juvenile detention facility. Police are seeking additional suspects -- described as black men between the ages of 18 and 25 -- who were involved in this incident.
