Correction to Council Candidate Story

Do to an editing error, the article “Lengthy Slate of Council Candidates Qualifies for November Ballot” (August 17, 2004) stated that 19 candidates qualified for four open seats on the City Council.

The correct number is 16. Brian Andrus, Stephen H. Silberkraus and Mike Smith failed to submit the 100 valid signatures needed to make the November 2 ballot. The Lookout regrets the error.
