Suspect in Stabbing Arrested By Lookout Staff Nov. 3 -- A 16-year-old suspected of stabbing his brother in Ocean Park was arrested Sunday by Los Angeles County Sheriffs in Temple City. County Sheriffs stopped the juvenile -- who matched the suspect on a flyer distributed by Santa Monica Police -- after spotting him walking down the street. The officers stopped the suspect and arrested him in connection with the stabbing that took place Saturday morning on the 100 block of Ocean Park Boulevard, where police found the victim inside an apartment with a wound to the upper body. The suspect was transported to the Santa Monica Police Department, then to East Lake Juvenile Hall, where he was detained on an attempted murder charge. Santa Monica Fire Paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital Saturday, where he was listed in serious condition. The Robbery/Homicide Unit of the Santa Monica Police Department is handling the investigation. Anyone with additional information should call 310.458.8491. |
