August 23 -- Police are looking for a missing woman who walked out of her Santa Monica home nearly two months ago and hasn’t returned, police said.

Alicia Serrano Medina, 52, left the residence where she lived with her son on the 700 block of Marine Street on July 2, leaving behind her personal possessions and identification, police said.

He whereabouts are unknown, said Lt. Alex Padilla, the Police Department spokesman.

“Medina could be travelling with a male companion only known as ‘Rodrigo,’” reads a missing person’s alert issued by Santa Monica police.

Rodrigo is described as a 34-year-old Hispanic with short, medium-brown hair, hazel-colored eyes and a light complexion.

He is short and chubby, with a beer belly, and has “rough callous hands,” police said.

Rodrigo speaks Spanish and some “broken English” and lives in a house in Culver City with several other male Hispanics, police said.
