Projections, Sculptures and Photographs Change How We See the World

"Four Dimensions" by Santa Monica's Katzuhisa Sakai -- whose works in varied media evoke abstract urban landscapes -- is among the must-see art on exhibit in October in LA.

Working with stone, wood, and acrylic on canvas, Sakai's approach is abstract and alludes to big great structures in the urban landscape. His work evokes those moments of transition in the physical and the spiritual spheres

Sakai -- who exhibits in New York, Japan and other parts of the world -- is holding the first exhibition of his work in Los Angels in 20 years.

The Look gallery is located in a most unusual space at the LA Mart downtown.
